CARE
As you already know by now, dragonets are not the most cleanly or careful of creatures. The most imposing problem with dragonets is that they can't defecate between like their adult fellow dragons. That means mucking for you. Your dragon's couch should have clean rushes every day and be mucked out as soon as the dragon is finished with his or her business. Remember, you are not the only one who has to live in the barracks with that smell. In addition to that, you should clean the couches with sandsoap once if not twice a week.
FEEDING
Dragons need to be fed once or twice a day when they are young. As they age they eat more and more at one sitting, and the time between eating gets longer and longer. There is no set schedule here; just feed them when they are hungry. Oiling, on the other hand, needs to be done every day. For the first few weeks you should carry a vial of oil around in your pockets for itching emergencies, because when dragonets itch they scream and all within psionic distance is disturbed. The best thing to do early on is to establish a routine. Wake up, feed, muck, change the rushes, go to the pool and bathe, lay out and sun off, oil, back to the barracks for a nap. Dragonets love routine, and it will help you organise your time.
